The hotel’s tone is created by minimalist elegance, natural materials, and pleasant places. To create a comfortable, friendly, and beautiful environment, the interior design was carried out with a focus on light colors and natural materials that were in harmony with the surrounding green regions.
The excelsior Gallia hotel’s interior areas provide a wonderful and flowing atmosphere. It has a clean and linear atmosphere and is developed with extremely particular elements. The interiors are reminiscent of the art deco period’s timeless elegance and style.
The intervention by Studio Marco Piva strives to retain the architectural integrity of the structure, therefore no changes were made that would overshadow the massive image of exedra. On the contrary, the interior was designed in such a way that it is physically separated from the area in which it is enclosed, emphasizing the architecture even more.
The idea came from the location, the shapes and colors of Algerian architecture, and the truly spectacular landscapes that include desert, mountains, and the sea. A different type of luxury.
Traditional structures, volumes, and materials are expressed via refined craftsmanship and beautiful details, resulting in a timeless, polished design.
The interior design idea was inspired by the nearby teatro lirico and is reminiscent of theatrical and musical elements, as seen by the lighting effects and use of color, materials, and finishes. a multi-functional and multi-sensory initiative aimed at providing a perfect mix of work and enjoyment for a new standard in urban hospitality.
A well-balanced and attractive interior design sets the stage for an ideal experience immersion into a new luxury concept. The diverse modern design and architectural solutions are highlighted by bespoke, warm, and selected materials such as silk, gold, glass, resins, and marble.
The primary goal of Studio Marco Piva was to define a building that actively interacts with its urban surroundings through an open architectural volume. Light must be employed as an architectural feature in order for the structure to appear as a visually communicating constituent.

Patricia Urquiola and her partner, Alberto Zontone, formed Studio Urquiola in 200, and it specializes in industrial product design, architecture, art direction and strategy consulting.

Patricia Urquiola, originally from Oviedo, Spain, studied architecture and design at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid before completing her studies at the Politecnico di Milano, where she graduated under the mentorship of Achille Castiglioni. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with a number of well-known interior design and architecture firms.
Patricia Urquiola begins each project by establishing an empathic connection with the customer who will eventually interact with her designs, a technique she learned from Achille Castiglioni, establishing the “fundamental element,” as he used to call it, the foundation of each project that always keeps her on track and accompanies her entire design process: thinking spaces or objects in relation to people.
Today, we reunited a list of Modern Hotel Interior Design by Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola‘s objective with the Ca’ di Dio project was to keep a strong connection with Venice, both in the architecture of the public areas and the rooms. The essence of the city pervades all regions, manifesting itself in materials, colors, finishes, and ideas. The palette is simple and delicate, composed of colors and transparencies that allude to water reflections, a reoccurring element at Ca ‘di Dio.
Patricia Urquiola investigated the interaction between light and space, which was the major focus of the common functions that always looked out into the courtyard. As a result, the palette is composed of natural and light hues, as well as subtleties that mirror the priceless original frescoes.
The hotel strikes a mix between warmth, humor, refinement, and numerous brand experiences in a setting that encourages interaction between college personnel and students, as well as community members and others.
Interiors showcase a mix of handmade, contemporary, and design symbols that interact with one another.
The various areas are delineated by very high curtains that form a type of stage scenario, providing privacy but yet allowing visibility.
The design is being revived for the rehabilitation of this classic Passeig de Gràcia structure, which dates back to 1901.
Room Mate Giulia represents Milan city in its colors, textures, imagery, irony, and linguistic mix by using archetypical local materials and elements.
The meticulously designed lightness of space meets the carefully chosen natural color palette. Patricia Urquiola experiments with the sense of interior and outdoor spaces, questioning the distinctions between the two.
The W Vieques Hotel presents a contrasted conversation, an eclectic mix of decorated rooms and the natural splendor of Puerto Rico’s surroundings.

1- The Avalon Hotel
Oliverio, the hotel’s poolside restaurant, reopened with a new concept and a striking new style following its makeover. Long, low 1970s-style sofas and stone-veneer tables contrast with modernist gold Warren Planter chairs to create a casual lounge mood inside the intimate dining area.
2- Four Seasons Anguilla
Kelly Wearstler’s first foreign destination is the 40-acre Four Seasons Anguilla. The private property’s idea combines awareness and respect for the island’s terrain and cultural heritage to elevate the concept of Caribbean luxury.
4- Santa Monica Proper
The Santa Monica Proper hotel, designed by Kelly Wearstler, is a magnificent yet comfortable oceanfront location with a sophisticated sensibility. The property’s design identity and underlying storytelling were inspired by the environment, history, and iconography of its namesake city. The reception contains a hand-carved desk with linework suggestive of a shell and a sand-infused gesso canvas behind it, which is punctuated throughout with imaginative renderings of famous seaside themes.
The new appearance and feel of Viviane, designed by the renowned Kelly Wearstler, embraces a renaissance of mid-century California with an authentic 1950s-60s selection of vintage furniture hand-selected from all around the world. A sultry palette of deep and turquoise blues, gold, ivory, and neutral tones in a variety of materials and patterns creates a seductive, understated ambience in all dining areas.

Philippe Starck was discovered by the general public when chosen to decorate the private residence at the Elysée Palace. After this honour and beginning of fame, he designed the interior of Café Costes. This project confirm his international fame when it became a success. He gives his essence to this project and reinvented the codes of the Parisian cafe, making it the cafe par excellence.
Born in Paris, Philippe Starck is considered one of the leading exponents of European design, as well as being known as an architect. As such, he carries out the designs of various installations around the world.
He began reinterpreting the standards of Parisian luxury with vigour and fantasy, incorporating a poetic element into his designs. He also infused his work with a sense of mystery and humanity. People should be able to appreciate their time spent with Starck’s creations.
When developing new work, the designer always has a belief in mind “If there is no human, social or loving vision, a project has no legitimacy to exist”.
In this project, Starck created a store where the customers can connect with the books and be inspired by their surroundings. The design elements are present everywhere but balanced with the essential values of the store.
This address preserves the memory of the sumptuous festivities hosted by the legendary muse and sponsor of artists of her time. Starck was able to emphasize the exact essence of the Mansion of Marie-Laure de Noailles.
As with the abovementioned project, Starck has paid attention to the type of shop it is, creating an inviting and cosy environment in which to read. As well as the style of store, he also took into consideration its location. Since it is in New York, Starck created a more modern design with simple lines.
In order to better reflect the luxury brand, Philippe Starck has created a magnificent interior design where customers can feel and absorb the luxury that surrounds them.
“It is a sort of Alice in Wonderland, a place of awoken dream. Nothing is real, everything is illusion. For a lot of people life is not very fun, it is too realistic. When you enter in the Cristal Room Baccarat in Moscow, nothing is realistic: all over there is poetry, everything is coming from somewhere else.” Philippe Starck
In this project, Starck has developed an interior design that represents Paris at its best. Classic lines with some modern elements.

Born in Paris, Philippe Starck is considered one of the leading exponents of European design, as well as being known as an architect. As such, he carries out the designs of various installations in Paris, Tokyo, and New York.
“Subversive, ethical, ecological, political, humorous… This is how I see my professional duty,” says Philippe Starck. The French architect and designer is a reference when we talk about light and contemporary design. He believes that the world does not need new products, but new solutions. With this idea in mind, he created an enormous amount of different projects, but all of them have something in common, the expression of its conception of useful intelligence through products that are first functional than beautiful.
A renowned professional when it comes to architecture and design, Starck stands out for the wide variety of projects he has been involved in. His curriculum includes creations such as hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, furniture, luggage collections, and even yachts. In this article, we will focus on his hotel and restaurants projects.
When developing new work, the designer always has a belief in mind “If there is no human, social or loving vision, a project has no legitimacy to exist”.
The 9 Confidential hotel is the latest Parisian address imagined by Starck. Inspired by the delicate and sophisticated poetry of the 1920s, this project oscillates between neo-classicism and modernity.
“Brach is not a hotel, it is a place of unique life and culture where poetic mysteries and fertile surprises feed the imagination. Sensual and rigorous, minimal and eclectic, there reigns a raw and modernist romanticism warmed by multicultural influences from Africa, Asia, and South America. It is an unusual place that invites you to a unique exploration.” Philippe Starck
The renowned hotel, Le Meurice continues to embrace creativity and places the art of living even more firmly at the center of its history. Philippe Starck was chosen to restore Le Meurice’s heritage to its rightful prominence, and in doing so exalt its riches and beauty.
In this project, the designer used neutral tones that transmits luxury and sophistication. The combination with modern and classic style, through the wall art, emphasizes the above feeling.
La Réserve Eden au Lac is an atypical and highly modern place that is both majestic and sophisticated and thanks to its unique location in the city and on the waterfront, provides a unique lifestyle perspective on Zurich.
“Le Royal Monceau has nothing to do once again, with the architecture or the decoration, it has to do with exploration. The exploration of what is, of what should, of what could be the French spirit.” Philippe Starck
