1.Intercontinental Los Angeles Downtown
With 73 floors, the Intercontinental LA is the tallest building on the West Coast with captivating and unique views of Los Angeles. The hotel’s interior design was inspired by the city’s life, with soothing and neutral colours and floor-to-ceiling windows.
2.Fairmont Century Plaza
One of the most anticipated openings of 2021, the Fairmont Century Plaza is a 1966 modern mid-century icon that underwent a fabulous refurbishing by the interior design firm Yabu Pushelberg, giving the hotel not only new life but also a rooftop pool, one of LA’s largest spas with a Himalayan salt room, an aromatherapy steam room and a hammam.
3.Hotel Figueroa
Hotel Figueroa started off in 1926 as a hostel just for women and was the largest project of its kind in the history of the United States to be financed, owned and operated by females. The hotel also made history by employing America’s first female hotel manager, Maude Bouldin. Hotel Figueroa honours this legacy by featuring female artists’ work, including a 12-story façade mural of vintage florals from Bella Gomez and an ongoing exhibit spotlighting local women artists. The overall design also radiates a feminine feel, like the vivid blue fig leaf bathroom wallpaper and the curvy furniture.
4.Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills
Located in the privileged location of Beverly Hills, this five-star hotel attracts locals and high-class visitors alike, whether for just dinner or for a complete staycation relaxation at the rooftop pool. The hotel has wellness rooms and suites, paired with luxurious and bright accommodations with health-focused amenities such as air and water purification systems, soundscape machine, guided meditation and much more.
5.JW Marriott Los Angeles, LA Live
The JW Marriott LA revealed a new look this March, with light-filled rooms and suites draped in grey and artwork that depicts the themes of light and energy. After checking in, enjoy a meal at the recently opened Savoca: the trattoria added heated outdoor dining cottages, a cosy, socially distant setting for cacio e pepe.
6.Mr. C Beverly Hills
Owned by Ignazio and Maggio Cipriani, the Mr. C Beverly Hills hotel furnishes its rooms with Italian furniture and fabrics from Tedeschi, Italian linens from Casarovea and black-and-white photos that capture la dolce vita. Mr. C displays a modern version of old-world simplicity and upscale European glamour while providing guests with a comfortable, elegant and effortless experience. This property features 138 rooms with 12 Signature Suites, Classic Suites and spacious guest rooms, and each room has a private balcony and many feature panoramic views of Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. The hotel restaurant, Cipriani, features classics from the original Cipriani, and other specialities and pizzas.
7.Hotel Bel-Air
Located on a private canyon hillside, the Hotel Bel-Air is a sanctuary filled with Hollywood history. The stylish and contemporary design presents marble touches, with limestone floors and natural wood ceilings, promoting a luxurious elegance in one of the most serene settings. All the fifty-eight rooms and forty-five suites have wonderful views of the garden, having also a tropical feel.
