With the world finally returning to normal, it is high time to cover hotel openings in April from across the world. Hotels are developing preparations for travel on-demand, taking into account safety and healthy measures to help in the fight against this pandemic.

Located in Malta, the Iniala Harbour House & Residences is spread across four exquisite and ancient sites dating back to the 1600s has twenty-two uniquely designed rooms and suites and is a part of the Iniala Group developed by Mark Weingard. The hotel, which overlooks the famous Grand Harbour, will set new standards for eye-catching urban design.
Kalesma is a twenty-five and two-villa luxury hotel expected to open late this month. ‘Kalesma’, meaning inviting in Greek, is perfectly suited to the ethos of this boutique and privately-owned property. This house collection has been created to resemble a typical Mykonian village within a walking distance from the beach. The look and feel of a traditional village are deliberate, as Kalesma is all about making guests feel at home and encouraging a neighbourhood vibe, enhanced by laid-back weekly supper clubs. Inspired by Cycladic architecture, combining tradition with contemporary elements, Kalesma is a design aficionados dream – offering sleek and minimalist interiors using locally sourced materials, evident at every turn.
Ca’di Dio is located at the entrance to the Arsenale area, known as the Contemporary Art District of Venice, linked to the prestigious Biennale. The hotel building dates back to 1272. The project has been curated by Patricia Urquiola, aiming to create an original and distinctive concept of a typical Venetian house, linked to the history of the city. Ca’di Dio has a contemporary style, unusual for Venice, with the common areas filled with the typical travertine and perfectly preserved frescoes.
Mandarin Oriental Ritz hotel is located in a 110-year building taking the Spanish architect Rafael de La-Hoz and the French designer Gilles & Boissier three years to complete the refurbishing. This luxury hotel has 153 rooms expected to appeal to both local and international guests while preserving the traditional character of the original building.
The brand W Hotels is going to make its debut in Portugal, in the tourist escaped Algarve. Located just outside of Albufeira, perched on the iconic cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the W Algarve combines urban glam with beach life in a region for its beautiful, secluded coves, year-round sunshine and enticing cuisine. The hotel has 134 rooms and suites with 83 residences, all facing the ocean and boasting spacious balconies.
Opened on April 1st, Berkeley Park Hotel rises as the newest member of the MGallery Hotel Collection and the first MGallery property in Florida. The Berkely Park Hotel has 80 rooms in one of Miami Beach’s most coveted sector known as the Collins Park ‘Arts Corridor’ for its direct access to world-renowned art institutions, and just steps from white-sand beaches. With a timeless Mediterranean façade from 1936, the hotel pays homage to the city’s architectural roots with all the modern amenities that discerning travellers expect.
