Jacques Garcia is a French architect and interior designer, he is based in Paris, the capital of fashion design. The artist is mostly known for his extravagant taste and projects, mainly Paris hotels and restaurants.
In 1980 he makes a name for himself with the incredible decoration of his private mansion, the Hôtel de Sagonne. This project allowed him to launch a successful career in France doing numerous projects in the French capital. Later, his success and recognition became international with the opening of the Wynn in Las Vegas, l’hôtel Victor in Miami, La réserve in Geneva and Spice Market in New York.
Jacques Garcia’s richness pays homage to and maintains the Belle Époque style, while also delving into Bohemian opulence and Oriental elegance. His ability to create classically ornate interiors while still accommodating the modern requirements of a hotel or private property is crucial to his success.
In this design, we see the defining characteristics of Jaques Garcia’s designs. Although the colour palette is more neutral than usual, the furniture is imposing and characteristic of the Belle Epoque.
As with the previous design, there is a very strong presence of Belle Epoque inspiration. However, in this project, the designer has kept the tones used at the time and all the golden details that together with the rest, convey the idea of luxury and power.
Black, white and gold, the three colours which are divine on their own, combined with a red carpet the luxurious effect is guaranteed.
Inspired by Oriental culture, this project by Jacques Garcia reflects all the elegance of its source of inspiration.
With a mixture of inspirations, this reception presents us luxury, serenity and comfort. The peak of comfort is transmitted by the velvet sofa.
In this project, Jacques Garcia was mainly inspired by Oriental Culture. We see this inspiration in the chosen colour palette, in the motifs of the carpet and the headboard of the bed. Although it is a spectacular room, what makes it unique are the details found in the various areas of the room.
