THANK YOU FOR YOUR REQUEST
We will be in touch soon.
It seems like just yesterday we were playing Guess the Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, but fast-forward five years and we’re back—and we’re talking yet another renovation. The ship-shaped hotel formerly known as The Yankee Clipper has been doing its things in Fort Lauderdale for years and years, and after a stint as a Sheraton it has been turned over and turned into the B Ocean Resort.

Upgrades and improvements are scheduled to wrap up early next year, so all those spring breakers will be able to check things out during their ins and outs of sobriety. The Sun Sentinel has all the details, but it sounds like new colors and fun furnishings are just part of the plans.
Bathrooms will be getting an upgrade as well, as all finishes will get a remake in a palette of blues and grays to go along with the overall feeling of being right next to the Atlantic. New artwork will be featured in the rooms as well, and it looks like they’re going with a sea turtle motif—um, ok!

Other goodies include a nip and tuck for the pool and its surroundings, there will be a new to-go section added to the on-site restaurant, and the Wreck Bar will undergo a refresh as well. The hotel is only one of a few right on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, and they will be sure to show that off with a renovated lobby featuring big, expansive windows and a grand staircase. You’ll know you’re at the beach as soon as you check-in.
