Here, authentic Cycladic design merges with an unadorned industrial order and sophisticated eco-friendly construction that define a unique new style.

Well-known Greek architect George Zafiriou is a force throughout the country. In breathing new life into this old miners residences, he merged the traditional elements of local architecture with an expansive industrial feel to create hospitable spaces full of natural light in complete harmony with their surroundings.

Young, talented interior designers Ioanna Founti and Zili Karahaliou have crafted warm and bright spaces rich in earth tones with a décor carefully made up of selected finds on Serifos and deco items from Athens. Here, pure customized furniture made of natural materials, such as chestnut, cotton, silk, coconut fibers, and herbs (think: eucalyptus and lavender) complete the beautiful picture. Even the smallest details, such as room keys, slippers, and personal care items, are thoughtfully connected to the hotel’s authentic concept.
