As a reflection of her worldwide tastes and experiences, Eliská combines different cultures, converting them into the design. Eliská mixes English, European, Middle Eastern and Asian features, creating a unique interior design style.
Subsequent to becoming a mother, Eliská was unable to travel as much; for that reason, she started designing fabrics and textiles which lead her to room sets and in due course to interiors.
“I’ve always been very curious about different times, fashion, and interiors. That is why I like mixing.”
Here are two projects that showcase Eliská’s design talent and unique style:

Eliská Design Associates were asked to create an alfresco Cigar snug for Home House Private Member’s Club in Portman Square, London. The studio delivered an elegant and enduring space that could be used by guests all year round. Finishes were paramount- the client asked for a contemporary version of the classic Chesterfield buttoned banquette, and to create as many seating options as possible within a limited space. Slick, but comfortable, with a resonance of this iconic club’s architectural heritage- the studio was asked to focus on bold leather details evocative of heritage luxuriousness and to describe through design the timeless combination of leather and tobacco.

Eiská collaborated for this project with a London based architect. The bar was being split into two separate entities and Eliská worked with the clients to coherently differentiate the spaces through clever design, to a budget. The clients were installing a craft beer and Prosecco on tap bar as the ground floor and wanted an atmospheric cocktail lounge in the basement.
The entrance bar brought together a cool-toned monochromatic colour scheme and industrial accents such as metro tiled walls, exposed steel and wooden bar tops and embossed pressed tin panels to the bar front. Eliská involved a lighting designer to produce playful industrial fixtures in the bar- such as tap fittings which featured as lights. This industrial feel was contrasted to the basement lounge bar, where mood lighting and a scheme of deep amber was complimented by the bespoke, riveted copper bar with matching accessories.
